We are proud to announce that the Eastern Women's Business Association has chosen the Trussville Fire Department's Christmas for Kids Program as their charitable organization to sponsor for the year of 2007. Thursday, July 19, 2007 many of the fire department's personnel and their children stood for a photo, that will be placed on the Eastern Women's Business Association's annual calendar for the month of July. All of the proceeds of these calendars will be given to the Christmas for Kids Program.

Very Important Message for ALL Home Builders!! There has been some confusion with some builders concerning the residential fire inspection process and the items that are being inspected. A new letter has been released that will hopefully clarify this confusion. You may find the letter in the new Builders Packet given out when a permit is purchased and at the Fire Marshal's Page.

The 2008 Explorer Competition was a great success, and was in large part due to the many sponsors and volunteers that made the event happen. We hope that all of the explorer posts which participated enjoyed the experience. We were very proud of the skills that were exhibited by each participant. These explorers leave hope for the fire service of tomorrow.
